Since Killifish are so hard to find nowadays, I thought I'd mention that you can buy a pair from Dr. Fosters and Smith magazine for $49.99. That's still 25 dollars per fish..but believe me, Killifish are worth it. Nice colors and easy to breed. A pair looks incredible if under the right conditions and a pait can be kept in as little as a 10 gallon aquarium! Anyway, Dr. Fosters and Smith is selling 2 different breeds, but I can't remember what they are. Hopeful to have more information soon.

Thanks for the information Tidus. Acually in Virginia, you find them for
$5 each at most LFS. Even if they were rare, I couldn't afford $25 a fish.

Really? Are you sure that they are really Killifish then? You might want to check up on that on, because I dunno what your buying... Most Killifish-keepers have had to get their fish caught specifically for them, catch them themselves on aquarium netting trips (which is illegal in most places, by the way) or buy them offline, where they arrive in usually fatal conditions. I've never heard of Killifish being sold in a LFS! I might have to check up on that. Thanks, Neon!
