Hello everyone.
This forum needs some more posts, so this is a boost.
Does anyone here have a pond? If so, descibe it here
and try to include pictures!

That'd be nice! It get's a little too cold here in Colorado for anyone to keep a pond...it'd be frozen over for at least 7 months outta the year! I think I'll just stick to indoor aquariums ;-)

You could try a pond heater, but then again, aquariums are just as much fun.

Yeah, and pond heater's aren't meant to be used in places where it can excede -40 degrees fahrenheit.

It gets that cold where you live?

In the winter? Easily. I live on the high summit of a mountain. I know..pitiful. But it's one of the best ski areas in North America, so I'm happy.

Ah, I didn't know you lived on a mountain. What altitude?
TidusIsTheOne- 07-15-2005
almost 14,000 feet above sea level.

Gosh. I'm only like 1,000 ft. above sea level.

lol, yeah. Not too much oxygen up here, so you start breathing heavily faster, which sucks cause I play football. But since the air is thinner, my golf swing improved by almost 30 yards ;-)

lol. I would hate having more trouble breathing.

Not really more trouble breathing. you just can't hold your breath as long, and you tire faster, cause you can't get enough oxygen to your lungs and blood. But I love spending time at sea level after being here. I can hold my breath for well over 2 minutes, which is great cause I skin dive, and I can run like 3 miles, no problem at all.
