Hello everyone. If you have a planted aquarium, post here! List the plants in your tank (if you know what they are), and what you need to supply them with to keep them living. This is just a post to help people pick what kind of plants they want.

I have plants in my tank, but I have no idea what they are. Can anyone tell me what they are?

Oh yeah, the green balls are Moss Balls. I know that much.

yeah..those are moss=balls..and those other taller plants look like some type of Anubias..but I can't be sure. I have a lot of Java Ferns in my 46 Bowfront, and also some smaller Sword Plants. Can't wait till they get huge and I can make it the centerpeice in my 55 gal ;-) I wanna see how my cichlids will react to it.

I got the plants from a guy named pete, he has a fish store in New York. He threw these in as extra. I bought hornwort, but of course it is dead

How'd the hornwort die? If you still want to try new plants, Swordplants are pretty hardy, and so are Java Ferns.

I am not sure how the hornwort died, but I am thinking it was because every fish in my tank ate it.

Oh, lol, knowing the fish in your tank from the pictures you posted I probably should have guessed that.
