I noticed in my fish tank that on one live plant and 2 plastic plants that there is something growing on the tip of the leaves. It is some type of algae I assume. It stands up like "The Canadian Maple Leaf" symbol but its green and flows with the water current. It looks like a fern or a really small christmas tree or pine tree in a way. Any help? Any clue?

Do you have a picture of it? It is probably a type of green algae or brown algae.

Probably brown algea.
