Ok people i thought it was time to ask the question again ohmy.gif
What tanks do you have and what have you got in them or what are you going to put in them reef/Nemo.gif

We have a
7L - treatment tank (goldfish getting over cotton wool disease at the moment)
14L - cycling with minnows but will have a male betta in it.
21L A - Guppy tank, we have 7 guppys in there at the moment but wait for it.
50L - to be guppy tank, possibly for the famales and fry.
21L b - Possibly a female betta and some corys.
100L- Goldfish tank with mozoo internal filter
300L - cycling with minnows at the moment but will have cichlids once it has all leveled out (this is hubby tank) he wants to put electric yellows and cobolt blues in there. Guess what we already have a fish store that will take the babys and give us credit in the store reef/first.gif

The fish store that will take the cichlids if they breed has also said that it will take some of our guppys also reef/beerchug.gif
We are thinking about starting a business for fish anyways (seriously), the cost of things retail here is terrible and if we can get things wholesale then we can make things cheaper for the public and possibly have a really good business going ohmy.gif

anyway what have you guys and gals got now?

Ok,

25g tall (SW)
20g tall (FW) penguin filter, floresent lighting, some bubble stones, ebo jajar heater. 3 angelfish, 3 tetra's, (lost some to ich), 2 cory cats, and 2 gupps.
Thats all i have running now,
though i am setting up a new SW tank, not sure if it will be a reef, and got about 5 empty tanks soon going into a breeding project

Ok i have set-up my 75g finnally, was gonna make it a reef, but instead its a lionfish tank.

The 20g tall is now also a SW tank with baby sharks and eggs.

I have a 10g with obo's gurgdon fish.

And a 20g long now where i moved the fish from the 20g tall.

55 Gal. African Cichlid tank, mostly bumble bee cichlids but also a few electric yellows. Want to get a couple Firemouths. Also has two small plecostomus for clean up crew.

46 gallon Bowfront oak. Currently empty, was a nice large freshwater planted platy breeding tank, but I sold them all and hope to one day soon turn it into a thriving reef aquarium.

10 gallon- Hospital tank, currently holds a mother electric yellow cichlid and her children. I love watching the little ones dart around ;-)

10 gallon- 9 platy and a few ottocinclus. Hope to upgrade to a 25 gallon soon and turn it into a saltwater hospital tank.

12 gallon Nano-Cube- Got the sand and the live rock. Hope to get some a couple clownfish and a couple pistol shrimp soon.

2 gallon- a male betta I "saved" from my local fish store. looked really bad, so I'm trying to cure him and buy a nice little 5 gallon hex for him to dwell in. I think he'll be very pretty if he makes it!

So, Those are my set ups, and I'm proud of 'em. Let's just say i have a full bed rooms, and my dad complains about the electric bill ;-)

My betta died, unfortunately. I decided to get something different (I have had 2 bettas so far). Today I picked up 4 cherry barbs.

TidusIsTheOne- 07-07-2005
Cherry Barbs are nice! I like Tiger Barbs better though, even though they are nasty little aggressive buggers...

The cherry barbs seem to be happy. And they are very pretty, too.

Good to hear! Cherry Barbs are pretty...and they most usually have good personalities, too.

Titus -
Reading your post on July 1st, I noticed that
you stated having 2 Plecos in a 55g tank with
African Cichlids. If you still have 2 in there,
are you planning to trade off one? I'm just
wondering because if these are common plecos,
which you see at Wal-Mart, PetsMart, Petco, etc,
Then these plecos will grow to almost 2 feet.
They are slow growers, but in about a year I would
think about trading it off to a local fish store.

I think I know, NeonTetraFan, and they're little guys, only about 2 inches each. They're bothg gonna go into the 125 I bought once I get it set up. And they're Gold Nugget's, so they won't even reach a foot, not to worry.
