Well here i am complaining about a little fin rot here and there and my fav betta decides to up the stakes and get..........................................................................................Dropsy reef/cussing.gif

Over the last 24 hours it has gone from only just noticable to so bloated he looks like he is gonna pop.
I have put him into a tank of his own (instead of the divided) and salted the tank to the max, also added some melafix but i dont hold out much hope of survival. He has gone down hill fast and has not eated for 2 days ohmy.gif

I am thinking i may have to do what no fish keeper wants to do, but he is suffering, i will keep you all posted reef/mail1.gif

You may have to put it down. It sounds like it is having a hard time and may never heal. Good luck, though.

Well sully unfortunatly passed tonight, he has gone to fishy heaven to join Rainbow.
I am hoping the boys can behave there and not live up to their "siamese fighting" names and be friends in the rainbow river of dreams LOL

Yeah well we got a little addicted to the cupped boys, i couldnt let them live in there suffering so decided to save a few *roll*

Ahh thats nothing. Right now i have 11 but by the end of next week (not including extras) i should have 34. Lol!! 31 of them being high quality show/breeding stock. Then after you factor in the offspring of those, your looking at hundreds of bettas. reef/naughty.gif Hehe, i'm definately addicted... laugh.gif Thank god that i live in a big ol' farm house lmao. Oh and if your wondering, i'm selling the offspring to the local petshop since it's easier, but i'll keep some of the best for breeding and selling online. ANYWAYS.. I'm sorry to hear about your loss sad.gif For sure one of your lil guys will catch your heart and become your new favorite. ^^
