What kind of shrimp were those? I like having shrimp in the tank as they make a good cleaning crew.

makes sense to me, a tank is supposed to be a little ecosystem and it sounds like your shrimp are doing their part to make it work.

Those shrimp are getting big! You have some amazing cichlids! I especially like the Oscar. Also, what kind of substrate is in that last tank there? It looks to me like sand or fine gravel. it's pretty.
