wow, i havvent been a first time betta owner for over 3 years, i have 6 of those little beauties, i love them, they are my kids. with a betta, u cant screw up too much, believe me i screwd up alot, and i still have my first male betta, whose 3. your fish is beautiful. I have gotten so many people to get bettas, and i esplained how to take care of them, they thought i was nuts

I used to have bettas. My favorite was Boxer. He died when he was three. They really are beautiful fish.

i got 6 and couldnt live without them, they truly are beautiful fish

whenever i go over to his tank he starts strutting his stuff for me cause he thinks i am going to feed him if he looks all pretty LOL

Them when i do have food he nips at me trying to get me to let all the bloodworms go at once LOL

And as for betta floating food, well there he is being all pretty and doesnt stop to think that i have closed the lid on his tank cause the food is already in there and looks out at me as if *wheres the food?* LOL

sounds like a fun fish to have.

Agreed, Betta's are amazing. Full of life and very energectic. No two Betta are the same either. They all seem to have their own personality and it works for them.
