Ehiem did great on this product! The Ebo-Jager is a very good heater, with a .5 degree accuracy. They come in different sizes, too: 75W, 100W, 150W, 200W, and the largest size, 250W. The heater retails between $10 - $30, depending on size. It is good for fresh, brackish, and saltwater aquariums. Most of them are completely water-proof. The Ehiem Ebo-Jager has never let me down!
yeah. Ehiem did a great job with the Ebo-Jager heaters. I only wish they made an effordable under-gravel heater for planted tanks.

I've never heard of an undergravel heater.
Oh, do you mean a heater under the glass like with reptiles?
I had great success with this heater. Although in some stores here it sells for around 40 bucks, you can get them for around 15-20 online.
You are lucky they even sell them locally, Lionfishy.
The best online order is Big Al's Online. They have awesome prices on these heaters, and most everything else!
Yeah, Big Als is great. But, NeonFan, an undergravel heater is like a coil that you attach under the gravel of your aquarium and it heats up the gravel and the plants roots. It's really good for plants and makes them look lush and healthy. The only problem is the price. They cost a bundle.

Ah, ok. I have never heard of that before.
yeah, but if you have a large planted aquarium, it's worth the money.
-Ross
I never heard of that eather,
but guess you learn something new everyday.
Well,
Aquabid has a good selection of stuff.
They're really good. You can get them in the Dr. Foster's and Smith magazines for like 130.00 or something.

Aquabid's only good seller is Moosey IMHO.
Ross - $130!!! That is alot more than a regular heater!
Yeah, I said they're pretty expensive. but you only need one if your a serious plant carer.
