Moderator Openings

Hello! My names Ross, and it's three a.m. here in Colorado, so don't mind me if I say anything odd! But I would really love to be a moderator! I'm only 14 years old, almost 15, and I have plenty of time on my hands, obviously, and I would be honored to be able to become a moderator to this forum and help it on it's way to greatness. I have been keeping freshwater aquariums for a few years already, and am currently saving up to start some saltwater aquariums. I'm a pool/hot tub cleaner, and that how I get money to pay for this extremely expensive and addictive hobby! I wish to get my masters degree in Ichthyology at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. I love fish, studying fish, and even drawing fish. I would really love to be a moderator on this site. Thank you very much. If I am accepted please email me at LandGuppy911@aol.com. Edited at this point: Here is where he said I was not qualified and said many mean things and said I needed a brain to be qualified. All other members dont see that as they deleted all the posts by the mod. The truth has been hidden.

The site was down too so you cant reply to them if the site is down.

So that means I am not qualified huh?

What is needed to be "QUALIFIED" ? LOL

So a person who looks at a site is not a active member?

What if I told you I wanted to first see if the site would do ok or not?

What if I told you I have over 40 tanks and have been in the hobby for over 20 years.

Does that mean I am not qualified? LOL

Good luck with your site then. Looks like you will need a lot of it. Sometimes people enjoy the site without having to log in. I however do not enjoy it much so I wanted to help out and make it better. To all other hobbyists, read this thread to see how they treat you.

It is not neons job to tell if someone is or is not qualified to be a mod.

No problem. Just remember that members are here to enjoy the hobby and not be ridiculed. I simply stated that I was interested in being a mod and you jumped on me. Then it got out of hand on both ends.
