can I switch from salt water to fresh water? I have a 90 gallon tank which all is going to die after my power went out and and now my wet dry pump won't come back on. and I don't have the 90 bucks to get a new one for a couple of days. by the time I came home my two fish live rock crabs, snails, and starfish and plants have been without air or circuilation for possibly 9 hours now depending on when my power surged. What can I do now?
I called the pet store suggested cleaning out the pump but I tried that and it didn't work.
pump brand: Rio
Please help !!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know much about saltwater so I don't know what to tell you.
I know that you can switch to Freshwater if you want. Just try to get
the salt deposits off and buy new filters and substrate.
