*the picture for hollister SUCKS! but he is a maroon betta with yellow on his head, with maroon freckles on the yellow. hes pretty, and hard to explain*

*CODY!!! my almost 3 year old boy!!! Hes the best betta ever, and the most aggressive. He has an interesting story too. Here it is...
well i remember it like it was yesterday although it was 2 years ago, i had his small tank upstairs, it was a kritter keeper, and it was a pretty small one, but that was before i learned more about bettas. I was watching TV, when my parents came home from work. I had alot of stuffed animals on my dresser, with my betta in the center. My dad yelled down when he went to change out of his work clothes that i better come up. I ran upstairs and looked in my room, and saw my dresser knocked over, and all my stuffed animals all over the floor. I saw the kritter keeper knocked over with no water in it. I couldnt bare to see him dead *this was before i knew they could breathe surface air, so i thought he could only last like 2 minutes* , so i ran back downstairs crying my eyes out. My dad said he couldnt find him when he looked. I started crying more, and my mom said i could get a new betta, but i didnt want a new one. A little while later my dad yelled down that he found him, and he put him in the kritter keeper with freezing cold tap water *idiot* lol, and i ran upstairs, and picked up the tank, and wouldnt let it go, i was so happy. He was swimming around fine, no worse for the wear. I asked my grandma, who was there all day if she heard anything, and she said she heard a loud noise from upstairs after my dog ran up there, and it was about 12 pm when she heard it, and we found him at about 5 o'clock. we think thats the time he fell, and had been out of water for 5 hours, he may had just gotten knocked over, or it could have been since 12. No one really knows for sure, because my grandma didnt think anything of it, to go look.. i thank god everyday that cody survived, and now i am very conscious about where i put the tanks and stuff.*
Well those are my fish :hello2: :hello2:. Im excited to be part of this forum.
Love always,
Rissa
