Anyone know about breeding american pond snails??? i have many eggs on my FW plants of 2 breeding snails.

Give it some time and soon you will have millions of little snails.

snails are A sexual so they dont need a partner so as said in previous post just give it time you will start to see little snails all over!

I have a pond thats about 200,000 gallons in my back yard and it emptys in the summer and fills in the fall. Many little snails live in it. I kept them in a jar once and they bred like crazy. I also have frogs and clam things.

Thats ironic that your here asking how to get more snails and I'm desperately trying to get rid of them.

I just bought 3 snails that grow as big as apples, 2 gold,1 black & want
what to feed them to keep them alive as had snails before & just

You could feed them spiriluna wafers.

Just wait awhile, and every once and awhile drop in a spirulina wafer(every few days). Eventually, you will end up with millions of the little buggers. Believe me, there a curse! But, to each his own! Good luck. Don't worry about getting them to breed...with themselves... give it a week and you'll have mroe than you can deal with.
